What is Body Sensing?

Perceiving the internal state of your body — heartbeat, digestion, muscle tension, energy levels. Interoceptive awareness is the foundation of emotional intelligence; emotions are largely patterns of bodily sensation. Developing this sense creates greater self-knowledge.

Body Sensing is a specific form of internal sensations, which itself is a type of body. You might experience this feeling in situations where body is present, particularly when the circumstances align with the nuances that define body sensing.
